The Covenant relationship of dwell - missional christian community in vermont.
deep, man, deep
Another sense of community at Dwell goes beyond the Sunday gathering to a deeper kind of connecting. This may be the hardest one to define because it isn't a church "program" - it's just a relational progression.
This connecting happens in a number of ways. If you are not a Christian, you might find yourself wanting to follow Jesus with those in the Dwell community, and you might want to get baptized. If you are already a follower of Jesus, you might simply desire to build deeper friendships with members of the community and seek out a dwell/ing during the week. If you've been dwelling with us for a bit already, you might find yourself drawn to something we call covenant community.
Covenant community is simply a declaration of commitment to Dwell as your primary spiritual family. That kind of commitment is our Christian calling because deep, sacrificial community is the definition of the kind of love Jesus desires from us. Love one another - it begins in the new community called the church and spills out into mission in the world.
If you desire to covenant with us, talk to someone about it.
