Downtown! And by downtown we mean the cultural center of Burlington represented best by the famed Church St. marketplace and the South End arts district.
Dwell's gathering and office location is a perfect reflection of what downtown is all about. We co-occupy the Atmis Art Site, right on the South End Art Hop route and just a quick walk or cycle away from the Church St. marketplace. As such, our community is connected to the rich landscape of cultural and artistic expressions that is Burlington. Even our own space facilitates art shows, music performances, and creatives working at their craft.
The fact is that Burlington is young, creative, fashionable, professional, outdoorsy and active, and socially and environmentally conscious. This is the ethos of our city - and we love being fully immersed in it.
This area of our mission is all about context; we live the experience daily and desire to build relationships with people that hold this place and its culture in common. As we communicate our message at weekly gatherings or contrive creative efforts with the help of our Leader for Design we are essentially doing the Downtown mission...and having a ton of fun in the process.
